Hi there,

My name is Mina.

I am a full-stack engineer with a passion for understanding users and creating human-centered designs: easy to use, easy on the eye, and conscientious about the impact technology has on its users and the purpose it fulfills.

With 4 years of industry experience across startups and large corporations in both the US and Germany, I bring extensive frontend and backend expertise. My entrepreneurial spirit drives me to develop slick, high-impact features, especially for startups. I thrive working among ambitious people who share my commitment to purposeful technology.

At Rebike, our mission is to refurbish used E-Bikes, restore them to peak condition, and resell them at affordable prices. Our ERP system powers a meticulous refurbishment process, capturing critical data at every step.

The German bike industry, though strong, struggles with digitalization due to the absence of unified data standards, which makes it nearly impossible to obtain, organize, and analyze accurate data. From Rebike's inception, we’ve had to deal with countless (theoretically) avoidable errors and delays due to data inconsistencies. The refurbishment process hinges on replacing spare parts, which requires a well-organized warehouse, a smooth ordering process, and precise inventory tracking to forecast reorder timelines without disrupting the refurbishment workflow.

Facing this challenge head-on, our team collaborated with three bike experts to tackle what seemed impossible: creating our own standardized data ecosystem with rigorous rules and a resilient database architecture. Over these past weeks, we've engineered a comprehensive database schema, completely overhauled our backend, and crafted an intuitive, sleek UI that empowers users to effortlessly identify and locate spare parts. Have a look.

I’ve also recently revamped the website of author and curator Mona Horncastle. I had designed and launched her website one year ago, but with an ever increasing amount of publications, interviews, and publicity, it was time for a do-over.

Though I personally suggested we change the color palette to more zesty shades of green and yellow, the author was fond of keeping that purple palette. And why not. Purple is elegant, professional, sober, and offers that touch of feminine aesthetic.
